You can run Z-Stack.exe from any directory as long as all of the download files are in that directory.

If you do not have ScopePhoto loaded on your computer, you must run with the HW Trigger box checked or you will receive error messages. The HW Trigger allows you to use external triggering to conventional digital cameras that accept external trigger. Some accessory shutter release adapters have external trigger jacks on them. The trigger output jack on the z-axis controller box provides a relay contact closure.
